ALL orders containing live animals will be packed in an insulated box with the use of either a hot or cold pack, a phase 22 pack to help with temperature regulation inside the box, and plenty of packing material to insure their journey to you is as comfortable and safe as possible.
*Dry goods will be shipped USPS Monday through Saturday.
*Priority Mail/Ground for isopods and springtails will be sent Monday and Tuesday only.
*2nd day will be shipped out Monday-Wednesday.
*Geckos MUST go FedEx overnight. and will be shipped Monday through Wednesday. We will reach out to you to schedule shipping for geckos, so please be watching your email (check your junk folder).
Orders placed before Sunday at midnight will be sent out Monday through Tuesday, or Wedneday if 2nd day or overnight is chosen. If you place an order Monday or Tuesday, depending on work schedules, may be able to be sent out same day.
Any dry good orders placed before 2:00 PM MST may be shipped that same day.
We ship year round with careful shipping practices and offer Live Arrival Guarantee on all live shipments as long as temperatures in both locations are below 90 and above 40 degrees. If the temperatures in your area are higher than 90 or lower than 40, then the package must be held for pickup at your local post office or FedEx/UPS Hub. Believe us, we understand that sometimes shipments can be challenging to be held at a hub due to distance. Our "local" FedEx hub that accepts live shipments is a 3 hour round trip for us. If you are caught in this special circumstance, please reach out to us and we will do our best to work with you on this. Please be aware that we won't always be able to accommodate every request or offer LAG if you still choose to have your shipment sent if extemely high/low temperatures, bad weather, or known delays are happening, etc. These are living beings and can be extremely sensitive to temperature changes and the stress that can be caused during shipping. Delays, riding around in the back of a van that isn't climate controlled all day or sitting out on your porch for any amount of time can have detrimental effects. Winter and summer holds will be available at no cost to you until weather allows for shipping. Please read more about this in out "Store Policies" section.
Live animal sales are final and no returns of live animals are allowed.
With isopods and springtails, we will always pack an overcount to cover any casualties that may occur during the shipping process; therefore, we will only guarantee the actual count that was ordered. For example, if you order a 10 count, we will pack at least 12. If 2 perish in shipping but the other 10 are fine, we can't guarantee the 2 that passed, but we will either reship or offer a refund as long as your follow our LAG and contact us with photo or video proof of DOA within one hour of delivery receipt.
In the extremely rare instance that your gecko passes during shipping, we require you to inform us and provide photos/videos within 1 hour of delivery. We will offer you store credit for a new gecko, but no refunds will be offered, but please reach out to us and we will see if we can come to a mutual agreement.
If you are not happy with any dry goods that you received, depending on the circumstance, we will either offer you a replacement or refund. We may have you return the product in question and will cover the cost of return shipping.
Absolutely! We believe that all of our very first "starter" cultures were produced in captivity, but we cannot guarantee where the seller we bought them from got them. But we can guarantee that all of our isopods and springtails have produced at least 3 generations for us before being shipped to you. You will always receive animals that have been bred in our facility that have been kept and cared for to the highest standards. Most of our crested geckos that we offer were either produced by us or purchased from other breeders that produced them or were provided with their lineage.
For isopods, you will be shipped a culture of mixed sizes. We try to send a good variety of young juveniles to young adults, mancae will not be counted towards the culture count. We offer these sizes so that the adults aren't too old to reproduce or are at the end of their life and then young juveniles that will be able to grow into mature beings and reproduce longer. We want to give you a great start to a long-lasting culture, as well as one that has the possibility of reproducing soon after you receive them
Some of our springtail cultures are at least 3-4 weeks old, if not a few months old and are guaranteed to have at least the count that was ordered and more often than not, there will be a very HEFTY overcount as most of them tend to reproduce quickly. Even cultures that are packed right before shipping will have a heavy overcount.
We will do our best to keep the crested geckos listings up to date with current weights and sex if possible to determine. All hatchlings will be at least 4 weeks old and 3+ grams. Please understand that their weight may fluctuate depending on if they got slightly dehydrated during shipping. last time they ate and etc. So they will be within a few +/- grams of the final weight that is given to you on the cup while being packed. Their hatch date, if available, as well as lineage will be included.
We do! Any gecko or isopod puchase over $1,000 is available for a payment plan. We require 20% down and a payment will be required every 2 weeks until paid. This amount will be set depending on the price of the gecko or isopod. Shipment will be sent when the final payment has been received, unless weather or shipping issues are present. Shipment will be held at no cost to you until it is able to go out. Please read more about payment plans in our "Store Policies" if this is something you are interested in or please feel free to contact us.
Absolutely! Orders can be placed and held for pick up at shows we will be attending. Or if you are in the area or just passing through, local meet up can always be arranged. Just reach out to us and let us know when and where and choose the "Local Pick Up" option at checkout.
If you are interested in a show pick up, we keep a "Show Schedule" under the navigate tab. We recommend placing an order before the show if there are species or specific counts that you are interested in to guarantee they will be available at the show. At checkout, just pick the "Local Pick Up or Show Pick Up" option as your shipping method and add a note in the special instructions box with the show that you will be attending and we will hold your order behind the table for you.
